This campaign was aimed at students living at private accommodations, to bring awareness about the environment and bring social change,Inform and enlighten students
about the lack of landfill capacity, this therefore a result of a growing population, resulting in the space not being available to hide solid waste and thus leading to illegal dumping sites
Students hardly have any knowledge about the impact of littering on the environment surrounding them and others including the effects on their health. little knowledge or “care” about the dangers they are bringing upon themselves and those around them, therefore introducing a campaign that will benefit them and benefit the residents of Culemborgpark, students engaging with the campaign by throwing away the bottle they use into the ”BIN IT” garbage bin will be awarded with free drinks one weekend a month this will encourage a cleaner environment.
